History
The District is a conservation and reclamation district and a political subdivision of the State of Texas located approximately 23 miles southwest of downtown Houston and 3 miles northeast of the City of Richmond. The District is bounded by F.M. 359 along its southern boundary and Farmer Road on its eastern boundary. The District contains approximately 383 acres of land, of which approximately 133 acres of land in the District lie within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Richmond.
