Dear Ground Water Reduction Partner,
Per the “Water Supply and Wastewater Service Contract” between the City of Richmond, Texas and Groundwater Reduction Partner, we are giving the required written notice of increase in the rates. On April 15, 2019, the City Commission approved Ordinance No. 2019-13 establishing water, sewer, and garbage rates. A copy of the executed Ordinance No. 2019-13 is included.
Please note, effective June 1, 2019, GRP fees will increase from $2.20 (two dollars and twenty cents) to $2.42 (two dollars and forty two cents) per 1,000 gallons of water for all customers.
For MUD partners for whom the City acts as operator, please forward amended rate orders to the City as soon as possible. We look forward to our continued partnership. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
